Cleaning

The solar industry requires new and improved ways to lower costs and remain as the most Eco friendly option. We feel we offer the answer. We transport our equipment with a new fuel efficient truck . With our vehicle being a lot smaller then our competitors this reduces costs and emissions.

We recommend two cleans a year, as this keeps the solar panels from getting too dirty and reduces the growth of lichen an moss growing on the panels, as this can lessen the power produced by the panels by 30%

The Brush (Sunbrush)

We work with the latest tractor mounted brushes in solar farm industry which gives PKSolar the edge to offer a better clean.

The Tractor

All of our tractors use flotation tyres to reduce damage to site in the different ground conditions. All of our tractors are reliable and are maintained to a high standard.

Grass Cutting

Grass cutting is a twice yearly service. This is needed prevent panels from being blocked by shading , and to allow the electricians to maintain inverters.

PKSolar use up to date mowers to cut rows, under the panels, and all the open areas.

We can tackle any length of grass or weeds, using flails, toppers and strimmers to maintain sites.

Spraying

We offer weed spraying under the panels, to manage all or just certain weeds. If desired, we can carry out a complete site spray.
